10 Billion Minutes initiative is just part of our work at Better Tech. We speak in schools and churches, create curriculum, and collaborate on tech policies. We keep students at the front of everything we do.
We exist to reclaim our lives from digital captors.
Because even in the chaos, the human soul whispers, "I'm meant to be here, alive, thriving." And unmitigated technologial advances threaten to dampen our limitless potential. We won't stand for it.
Our ideal future:
Young people reclaiming 10 billion minutes of life every year. That’s one million students reclaiming 27 minutes a day for a year. This is possible!
We desire a world where every kid and teen knows how to create a healthy and intentional relationship with technology, while experiencing laughter, friendship, action, learning, risk, exploration, chance, and serendipity.
“Today, I saw the sunrise for the first time in two years.”
A small town in Shiner, Texas challenged all its teens and adults to reduce their screentime. Some even swapped their smartphones for a Wisephone. Others smashed their iPhones for a fresh start.
One high school student shared this powerful moment—and it changed everything.
